All the photos entered in this year's "Wild Wonders" contest were stunning and reflected the wonderful diversity of our region. Our staff found it particularly challenging to select only three winning photos for both categories: the Wildlife category and the Natural Landscape category. Thank you to everyone who submitted their photos!
Wildlife Winners
In the Wildlife category, Sharon Anderson won first prize ($150) for her engaging photo of a Yellow-bellied Marmot family (below) and second prize ($75) for her dramatic photo of a Peregrine Falcon with a Green-winged Teal (second photo below).

Silas Westcamp, a Summerville High School student, earned third place ($50) in the Wildlife category with his striking Cormorant photo (below).

Natural Landscape Winners
First place honor in the Natural Landscape category ($150 prize) was awarded to Joanne Sogsti for her dramatic photo of Mirror Lake (below).

Erik Long was awarded second place ($75) for his beautifully lit Morels photo (below) and third place ($50) for his colorful Fall Aspens (second photo below).
