Project sites range from degraded meadows to eroded forest streams

The tasks at each project can vary — removing invasive weeds in a burn area (below), stretching barbed wire fences around damaged meadows to keep out livestock, or repairing eroding hillsides. Each volunteer can choose a task that is a match for them, with most projects offering a range of light to moderate physical demands. Every restoration project is chosen to make a meaningful difference for nature. Volunteers and staff also enjoy meeting new friends. Check out the Volunteer page on our website.
