CSERC looks to our member base for more volunteers to help do the important restoration projects still planned for this fall

A lot of the articles in this newsletter attempt to give you important information on timely issues or to help you gain knowledge sufficient to speak at public meetings or to write an agency with pivotal comments.       This page is simply an “ask.” If you live within a reasonable driving distance of our core Stanislaus Forest or Bureau of Land Management area, you could be a highly needed match for CSERC’s volunteer – restoration workdays.       Julia of our staff is highly conscientious about planning projects with agency staff, getting the right tools and equipment to the site, and ensuring that volunteers get freed up soon enough that they can enjoy the rest of the day after the project is completed. We value our volunteers and strive to make each workday not only a success for the key work we accomplish, but also a fun day with high levels of satisfaction for those who volunteer. So… PLEASE contact Julia at [email protected] or (209) 586-7440 to sign up to be notified of the details about upcoming CSERC workdays. Due to evolving weather conditions or the changing availability of public land staff, it is most helpful if you will sign up to be notified in the two weeks before an upcoming project. Then you can get the key details and consider if that project is a match for you or your family.

Sign up, have fun working with like-minded volunteers, and help nature!
