Finally there’s a little snow to beckon in the season …

Drought-stressed forests are desperate for deep-soaking moisture and, at the very least, a normal snowpack to replenish lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.

First there were the scents of fall, with musty leaves and damp earth. Now there is the silence of the forest after newly fallen snow.

May this season bring joy and peace to all of our CSERC supporters and to the rich web of life of the Northern Yosemite ecosystem.
