•Spring 2011 -CSERC educational programs reach 100,000th participant, 2011 porcupine surveys underway, amazing wildlife encounter, Sawmill Lake development encourages sprawl, CSERC legally challenges Cooperstown Quarry, staff participates in green fairs, suction dredging comments submitted, wildflowers spread across the foothills.
•Winter 2010-Observing the wonders of nature, suction dredging hearings scheduled, Forest service "eco restoration" projects raise doubts, wildlife photos from contest, CSERC opposes opening hunting in Tuolumne Game Refuge, updates on important issues, winter recreation destinations, Don Pedro plans demand closer attention, another successful volunteer project season!
•Fall 2010- Roads pose risk to wildlife, fisher are victims to vehicles, Yosemite plans for overgrown scenic vistas, Leave No Trace tips, tax dollars pay for wildlife killings, CSERC joins in lawsuit against Forest OHV plan, controversy surrounds livestock and septic pollution to water, early fall places to hike.
•Spring 2010- Forest and rivers beckon visitors, great Tuolumne River hikes, field survey efforts expand, local “user” advocates aim to influence federal land use, Peaceful Oaks development finalized, local artist’s amazing mural at Sonora Library, litigation pursued over Forest Service OHV plan, improvements sought for suction dredging regulations, lake levels at Pinecrest debated, CSERC staff finds badly damaged stream.
