Spring 2010 Newsletter

CSERC's watchdog fieldwork in the Stanislaus Forest found an OHV route and this road gully discharging sediment into a stream,
filling it 16" deep with silt

Using our photos and measurements, we pressed the Forest Service
to take corrective actions.

Throughout the year, CSERC staff serves as a watchdog -- in the forest, along streams, at development sites -- wherever there are threats to nature across the Northern Yosemite region.

We are very grateful to CSERC members who have already donated to CSERC in 2010.   For those of you who have not yet contributed, please consider how important our work is for this vast region.   Your contributions are critically important support for CSERC's efforts to protect open space, water resources, wildlife, and wild places.
