So many species make up the ecosystem's inter-connected web...





   These photos show just a few examples of the rich diversity of species that live in our lower mountains and foothills.  Most people recognize the impacts of projects for deer, or perhaps even for wild turkeys, but so many less visible species are also affected whenever habitat is cleared or destroyed.
