The central region of the Sierra Nevada is a mecca drawing visitors to Yosemite Park, the Sonora Pass, and the oak woodlands of the Mother Lode. It is a place to create memories, to take a new, unexplored path, or to silently pause to watch a timid fawn.
In so many ways, CSERC works to defend the precious little things -- the tiny puzzle pieces of this complex region. Striving to show respect for diverse points of view, CSERC serves as an advocate on behalf of open space, protection of wildlife, and preservation of our remaining wild places. In this newsletter, we focus on CSERC’s on-going efforts to protect the precious gift of pure water.
