A great way to learn about and get involved in current conservation issues
The Western Wilderness Conference 2010 is to be held April 8-11, at UC Berkeley.
The web site is: www.westernwilderness.org.
The first wilderness conference, back in 1947, was the inspiration of David Brower. The last California conference, held in 2000, fostered the enthusiasm, friendships, dedication, knowledge and hard work that has led to the permanent protection of 1 million acres of wilderness in California.
