CSERC supporter Don Thomas at a recent meadow-fencing project, organized by CSERC and the Forest Service in 2011. |
For well over a decade CSERC has been lucky to consider Diane and Don members of our organization. While we have been grateful for their long-term support in many ways (Don is also one of regular volunteers at our restoration projects), we recently caught up with the couple to find out a little bit more what motivates their dedication to CSERC. Here's what they had to say.
"We're 30+ years residents of Tuolumne County, and enthusiastically support the work of CSERC. We appreciate the efforts of CSERC and the staff! They contribute to the educational programs of the schools, collaborate with the Forest Service in building and maintaining fences which keep livestock from degrading natural places, keep tabs on development in the area, and monitor water and wildlife. CSERC generally enhances the quality of life here in the foothills, which is the reason so many of us enjoy living here."

Thanks Diane and Don, you are appreciated!
