For the past 17 years, the Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center (CSERC) has effectively served as the foremost defender of more than 2,000,000 acres of forests, rivers, lakes, wetlands, roadless areas, old growth groves, scenic oak woodlands, and other precious areas within the central region of the Sierra Nevada.
Each year we deal with clearcutting, new road construction, huge new development projects, the spraying of pesticides, destruction of wildlife habitat, and other threats to wild places and open space.
