Environmental concerns in the Central Sierra and Northern Yosemite

From logging and mining to grazing and development, demands for natural resources put pressure on the environment in the Northern Yosemite region. Threats to wildlife, forests, wild places and water require many different approaches to protect these precious resources. Both public and private lands are affected by logging, water quality impacts, development and more.
